Awards and Recognition

The U.S. Army Cadet Corps (USAC) has a detailed awards program, which recognizes our members for heroic acts, meritorious service or qualifications. Awards include recognition for academic excellence, community service, marksmanship qualification and many more. Of note is that USAC personnel may earn both SCUBA and Parachutist qualification badges. While these badges are earned and worn by USAC personnel, these events may not be scheduled during USAC training events, due to insurance restrictions. Since the USAC is closely patterned after the U.S. Army, the standards of USAC’s awards are closely aligned with those of our active duty, reserve and National Guard colleagues
