Office of the Inspector General (OTIG)

Your first involvement with the Inspector General will be two-fold: The Initial Application background check is conducted by OTIG using a variety of methods to ensure suitability of adults for service in the USAC.  Within 30 days of enrollment and approval by the DCS, G1, you must complete Cadet Protection Policy Training (CPPT).  This essential training ensures that you are aware of U.S. Army Cadet Corps standards for working with Cadets.  Further, CPPT will inform you regarding reporting responsibilities applicable to you should you suspect any sort of Cadet abuse.  CPPT may be conducted formally in a classroom, or informally by telephone, based on the availability of certified instructors.
