Officer and NCO Corps

Membership in the USAC Officer and NCO Corps is a privilege reserved for those individuals who desire to promote the objectives and purposes of the USAC and the U.S. Army and who meet the eligibility requirements outlined herein.  Leadership and command of the USAC, at all levels below HQ, USAC, is provided by a dedicated corps of non-paid professional officers and NCOs.  Each applicant must complete a series of prerequisites and a thorough screening process prior to receiving a USAC commission or NCO appointment.

USAC has a culture which makes it clear that our officers and NCOs are "Non-paid Professionals," who accept an oath which obligates them to be as professional at our mission as our active duty, reserve and National Guard colleagues are at their mission.  We are very serious about professionalism, military bearing and continued personal development.  We find the "What are they gonna do, fire me?" attitude, which permeates many volunteer-based organizations, to be completely unacceptable.  We never use the fact that we are non-paid as an excuse for giving less than 110% effort towards our mission
